(KATONAH, NY— November 20, 2014) , Carol Christiansen, a Katonah New York resident, REALTOR®, and Broker/Owner of Café Realty has been awarded the 2014 Entrepreneur of the Year Award by the Empire-Westchester Chapter of the Women’s Council of REALTORSÒ (WCR). This annual award recognizes a REALTOR® member who fully exercises their potential as an entrepreneur and real estate industry leader; and who shares their time, talent and expertise with others in the profession and in the community.
Roseann Paggiotta, 2014/2015 Chapter President said “Carol Christiansen is an outstanding example of what Women’s Council of Realtors stands for. In the face of the tragedy of losing her son Erik to a drug overdose, Carol and her husband Lou fought through the pain of this loss to co-found “Drug Crisis in Our Backyard” and has held forums to speak to other parents and those tempted by drugs regarding this problem. She was interviewed by local television stations on the subject and continues to raise awareness on the subject. Carol expanded her real estate business by opening her own brokerage, Café Realty, and she continues to support our Chapter by being a member of our Governing Board to help build our membership.”
Carol Christiansen is the support for new agents at her company and welcomes conversation on the topics of real estate and community involvement.
Café Realty is a real estate brokerage, consulting and valuation services company serving people and communities from the Bronx to Dutchess counties. Call 914.302.7792 today to speak with Carol.
